**What You’ll Do**

Gyptech is seeking a **General Machinist **to join our team. Your role will involve:

- Setting up and operating machine tools such as manual engine lathes and milling machines
- Machining steel work pieces in accordance with drawings
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications

This position is based out of our manufacturing facility in Oakville. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm to 2:30am.

**What You Offer**
- Industrial Machinist Trade Certificate (430A or 429A) is an asset.
- Must have experience running manual lathe and milling machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication skills - Fluent in English
- Ability to read AutoCAD and Inventor prints
- Must work well with others and within a team environment
- Ability to organize work under project deadline constraints
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
