Join us and be part of an exciting place to work The Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina by APA is hiring a high-performing and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant you will provide Coast Hotels’ standards of cleanliness within assigned areas of the hotel.

**Daily Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manages all of the laundry daily. This includes collecting soiled linens from the laundry chute area, separating out any soiled, torn or worn linen to bring to the managers attention, loading the washers and dryers and selecting the correct cycle ensuring the machines operate at maximum efficiency then folding them once dry.
- Treating stained/soiled linens according to established procedures.
- Replenish stock with clean linens on each guest floor periodically throughout the day.
- Regular checks of laundry chemicals & replacing them when needed using personal protective equipment.
- Follows established Occupational Health & Safety procedures and policies when completing tasks.
- Additional duties can include but are not limited to: stripping linens in departed guest rooms, sweeping/vacuuming laundry floor area, tidying and stocking each guest floor’s housekeeping closet, Ironing banquet linens, preparing bedding on cots & cribs.
- Other duties as assigned and required.

**Qualifications & Skill Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant is preferred but not required.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Must be well groomed and neat in appearance.
- Must be physically capable of performing all duties associated with the position (e.g. laundry related duties, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending etc ).
- Ability to work unsupervised and be available to work weekends and evenings (part-time to full-time).
- Possess a positive attitude and maintain friendly communications with other staff members both verbally and via our digital ticketing system.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, multi-functional team environment.
