Reporting to the Commercial Division Controller, the Assistant Controller will be called upon to work in a dynamic team for our Commercial Division. Among his main functions, the Assistant Controller will participate in the consolidation of the financial information received from the various partners as well as in the review of the financial performance of the various assets managed by the management company. In addition, he or she will assist in the preparation of forecast data as part of the annual budget process in addition to providing assistance in the execution of internal controls.
The incumbent will be responsible for monthly accounting, monitoring of the operational budget and the capital budget, the establishment of forecasts and the annual budget as well as the preparation of annual audit files for the real estate assets that is assigned to him.

**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assists the controller in the coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the real estate assets assigned to his division
- Assists the controller in the day-to-day management of financial processes including, but not limited to, the management of payables, accounts receivable, and cash
- Ensures and coordinates financial management, financial planning, management control, financial management of projects
- Established and maintained good business relationships with various property managers and partners.
- Participates and ensures to provide the support required for the execution of audit files as part of the annual audit
- Participates in special projects assigned to him/her
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of employees (Accountants and technicians)

**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Possess a professional CPA designation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good command of MS Office software, especially Excel
- Knowledge of HOPEM, an asset
- French and English both orally and in writing (bilingual)
