**Premix Plant Production Operator**

**Location - Ayr, Ontario**

The Production Operator will operate within the DSM Animal Health & Nutrition premix manufacturing process including related equipment, associated utility systems, injury free, in a proper and timely manner and as instructed by DSM Standard Operating Procedures.

**Key Responsibilies**
- Handle raw materials, transport from storage to charge bins, weigh ingredients, and add them to Process Control System via floor dump or other means.
- Monitor all manufacturing equipment and process parameters; record process conditions and actions as required in the DSM ANH/NA Operation Management System (OMS).
- Perform minor maintenance work on equipment when necessary to ensure continuous operation of the process.
- Take care of good housekeeping within the area of responsibility, in compliance with cGMP, Quality (ISO 9001:2000), SHE, and HACCP guidelines, orders and instructions.
- Must understand and comply with DSM SHE Lock Out Tag Out Try Out (LOTOTO), Confined Space, Dust Explosion, Forklift, Respirator, Warehouse training, and any other Quality and/or SHE training provided
- Support the Plant Manager or Production Supervisor in investigating asset utilization issues.
- Operate in accordance with cGMP, Quality (ISO9001:2000), Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE) guidelines and instructions.
- Examines finished premix products to determine consistency and blend characteristics for future production continual improvement opportunities. Recommends improvements to premix product appearance, flow, and packaging

**You bring**:

- 12 years of high school or equivalent. Minimum 6 months related experience preferred.
- Good reading and writing skills are a must.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Good communication skills required.
- Ability to operate computers/terminals/scanners.
- Nice to have Forklift Experience
- Knowledge of and adherence to and including enforcement of DSM Corporate policies addressing Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
- Knowledge of and adherence of all cGMP, Quality (HACCP and ISO9001:2000 requirements.
- Ability and desire to learn and change as required by regulatory concerns and or issues.
