RAM’s highly trained and experienced staff, utilize the latest in specialized equipment to collect, sort and process all varieties of Ferrous metals. Our streamlined recycling techniques maximize the recovery of iron to increase value to various mills and foundries in Canada and abroad.

Now that you know about us, we want to know more about you We are looking for someone who can:

- Greet and direct customers and employees upon entry of the Scale house
- Track weight information from scale house and enter Mayer system and into weight log form
- File weight log form into scale log binder daily
- Enter grades of material into Mayer system
- Calculate payments for customers
- Produce purchase invoices for customers
- Issue cash payments to customers
- Ensure to enter weight of truck into the Mayer system each time a truck enters onto scale
- Report weight discrepancies of greater than 200 pounds to the Scale Supervisor
- Answer phones and customer inquiries
- Daily file, packing slips, purchase tickets, cash tickets (if applicable), and sales purchase tickets
- Communicate with administrative, yard and Supervisory staff as required
- Ensure to maintain housekeeping of the main office level and reception area
- Verify receipts of supplies against packing slips, and purchase orders
- Submit purchase order requisitions to suppliers as appropriate.
- File, and maintain file records
- Assist staff with various administrative tasks

*We think it would be awesome if you have:

- Good standing employment history and relationship with prior employers
- Solid waste and or metal recycling experience is preferred but is not required
- High School Completion is an asset
- College Diploma in a general business program is an asset
- Solid waste and or metal recycling experience is preferred but is not required
- 1-2 years of work experience in as an Office Administrator/Receptionist is a minimum requirement

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma (SSGD) or equivalent is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professional work ethic
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Self-reliant with the ability to follow through on assignments

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
