As a Laundry Aide you will perform various laundry duties and related essential services to meet the laundering needs of the residents, while consistently maintaining the relevant health, hygiene, and safety standards. **What You Will Do**:

- Sort and separate items to be laundered in accordance with laundering requirements and ensure proper identification of all personal clothing.
- Operate automatic washing machines, dryers, iron and sewing machine.
- Transport laundered garments to appropriate floors, hand iron and fold or hang garments after laundering.
- Maintain appropriate level of supplies like soap, bleach, fabric softener and thread.
- Perform simple mending and repairs.
- Maintain a clean work environment, dust and wash equipment and shelves as required.

**What you Will Need**:

- Previous experience in laundry operation and or a similar experience
- Lifting required
- Must understand the basis of good laundry techniques/practices
