**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and dispatch dry van loads efficiently to maximize on-time performance.
- Monitor driver logs, hours of service (HOS), and ensure compliance with **Canadian transportation laws (ELD, CVOR, etc.)**.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and optimize routes.
- Track shipments in real-time using dispatch software (Truckmate)
- Handle unexpected delays, breakdowns, or service disruptions with quick problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, load details, and driver communications.
- Ensure proper documentation (BOLs, permits, customs paperwork if applicable).
- Collaborate with safety and operations teams to uphold company standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience**, specifically in **dry van operations**.
- Strong knowledge of **Canadian trucking regulations (FMCSA, provincial laws, HOS rules)**.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cross-border (US-Canada) dispatching is a plus.
