**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting in the manufacturing and production of various ready to eat products
- Clean and sanitize equipment and facility ensuring sanitation requirements are met
- Working in a team environment to achieve production and customer targets
- Able to proactively problem solve and keep operations flowing smoothly
- Work under pressure with an emphasis on Health and Safety
- Diligently fill out production and sanitation paperwork as necessary
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements to management
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages - inventory control

**Skills and Competencies**
- Proven experience in a production facility with supervision roles or equivalent
- Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Proficient skills in MS Office
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- High School Diploma: Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an asset
- Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems (ERP software) such as Microsoft Great Plains and BatchMaster an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Must have been employed for at least 2 years in a food facility or equivalent
- Machine Operating Experience
- Above average computer & math skills
- Advanced English - spoken and written.
- Outgoing, positive, and enjoy collaborating with people.
- Above average communication and people skills
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
