Your primary responsibilities will be:
**_Accounts Receivable_**
- Collecting and managing customers setup forms and updating customer files
- Issuing sale invoices based on the information received by the shipping team and company systems
- Posting sales by verifying related support documents and entering transactions
- Verify the validity of account discrepancies and customers' charges by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer setup, trade promotions, shipping and customer service team, and customers. Printing out support doc. for backup
- Following up pending deductions from customers regularly
- Posting customer payments by recording WT, cheque, cash, and credit card transactions
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering credit notes
- Tracking customer accounts receivable, communicating with customers, resolving collection problems, updating AR files weekly, and preparing reports monthly as required
- Reporting material charges and unusual deductions from customers
- Providing AR tracking and summary report weekly

**_Inventory_**
- Managing product items in the accounting system
- Completing inventory transfers between different locations
- Adding additional costs (duty and freight) to inventory items
- Verify and reconcile the inventory transactions and reports.
- Reconcile ending inventory monthly, investigating shortages and discrepancies to keep records accurate.
- Providing inventory reports weekly

**_Other tasks_**
- Filing the documents. Make sure all of the support documents are well filed (hard copies and electronic files)
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Cross Checking accounts related to different companies are accurate.
- Support senior bookkeeper
- Assist with year-end auditing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$25.00 per hour

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Full Cycle Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
