**ENDOSCOPY REPROCESSING TECHNICIAN**

CanMed Endoscopy is looking for a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to work in a fast paced environment. This job involves being detail oriented, diligently following protocols related to the sterilization, decontamination and functional testing of endoscopes and other surgical instruments. Record-keeping and documentation relevant to reprocessing is an integral part of this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Endoscope and surgical equipment reprocessing (Olympus brand)
- Sterilization of surgical apparatus using aseptic techniques
- Maintain accurate records of each reprocessed scope and other equipment
- Maintain inventory / supplies for re-processing room

**Qualifications**:

- MDRAO approved certification
- Valid Olympus training certificate
- Excellent organizational skills

**Experience**
- 1 year experience as a MDRAO technician using Olympus equipment preferred (Paid training will be provided).
- Excellent knowledge in infection control and presentation policies from CPSO and Public Health Ontario.
- Ability to identify surgical instruments and supplies.
- Weekend availability required.

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
