**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assess students' academic needs and develop tailored lesson plans to address their specific challenges.
- Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and build confidence in their abilities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback to parents or guardians when appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ Years University/College (preferred)
- Access to a vehicle and the ability to reliably commute to tutoring sessions
- Knowledge of the Alberta curriculum (preferred)
- Must live in Calgary, AB Canada at time of applying
- Fluent in English

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's License and vehicle access (required)
- Availability: weeknights (4:00 - 9:00pm) and some weekends. You choose your own schedule.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
- Must complete criminal background check/vulnerability screening
- Familiar with the Alberta CBE curriculum
