**Experience**
- Twelve (12) months on-the-job in order to develop
- coordination, supervisory and administrative skills and
- become familiar with department policies and procedures

**Education**
- Journeyperson Cook certificate
- Food Safe Certificate

**Other Education and Training**
- Health Care Cook Certificate is acceptable

**Competencies**

**Knowledge and Abilities**
- Ability to work independently

- Valid driver's license, where required
