**Early Childhood Centre - Child Support Worker**

**Starting at $17/hour**

Location: Prosserman JCC Daycare and Preschool - 4588 Bathurst Street. North York, ON

Hours: Guaranteed 3 hours per day, additional hours available to work as a Supply Early Childhood Assistant as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Child Support Worker specializing in G-Tube Care. In this role, you will provide crucial assistance to a child with a feeding tube, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide skilled care and support to a child with a feeding tube, always maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
- Administer enteral feedings according to the prescribed schedule and guidelines.
- Monitor the child's overall health status, reporting any concerns.
- Assist with activities of daily living, dressing, and washroom routines, while respecting the child's dignity and privacy.
- Engage the child in age-appropriate activities and play, fostering social interaction and cognitive development.
- Collaborate closely with the child's family to ensure continuity of care and adherence to the child's individualized care plan.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided, including feeding schedule sand any notable observations.

You are empathetic, patient and you have a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. You demonstrate an enthusiasm and love of working with children. You have excellent English language skills and outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to easily form relationships with parents, co-workers, and children.

**Bonus Points**
Previous experience working with children with complex medical needs, particularly those requiring G-Tube care, is preferred.
