**Position Summary**
As Machining Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the machining department, ensuring quality production, machine efficiency, and strong team performance. You’ll lead by example while supporting operators, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping the department running smoothly.
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead and support a team of operators in the Machining Department, including 3 CNCs, 2 edgebanders, dowel machine, accessory prep, part sorting, and forklift material handling
- Troubleshoot and maintain woodworking machinery (primarily Homag and Biesse)
- Ensure the team follows production schedules, optimized workflows, and safety protocols
- Promote and enforce health and safety best practices in the department
- Enforce standardized procedures to maintain product quality and minimize downtime
- Train new operators and support cross-training across equipment and tasks
- Collaborate with Engineering and the Production Manager on continuous improvement
- Ensure effective use of WebCab
- Operate in a clean, organized shop that supports lean manufacturing practices

**What You Bring**
- 4+ years of CNC and woodworking machinery experience (cabinet manufacturing preferred)
- Strong machine troubleshooting skills (Homag, Biesse, or similar)
- Previous supervisory or lead hand experience (1 year required)
- Comfortable with lean manufacturing principles and production best practices
- Experience using barcode-based production software (WebCab is a bonus)
- Familiarity with Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetry design software
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
