**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the **Production cost evaluator** **will be responsible for all activities necessary to process an estimate request.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Analyze price requests from representatives;
- Estimate the production cost of the work by choosing the production method according to the type of equipment on site;
- Propose economical alternatives;
- Ensure the accuracy of the quote provided to the client;
- Plan the work to be estimated so that it is the most economical for the client and profitable for the company;
- Determine the cost price of proposals;
- Submit estimates and related documents to immediate supervisor if amount exceeds allowable limit;
- Put orders into production once the mandate is granted;
- Carry out other related tasks.

**THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE**:

- Hold a college degree in printing management or related field;
- Have five (5) years of experience in the printing and estimating field;
- Mastery of the graphic chain processes (estimating, ordering, validation and production);
- Knowledge of raw material logistics;
- Very good knowledge of estimating;
- Autonomy and thoroughness in following procedures;
- Bilingualism (french & english).
