Experienced House Cleaner

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Laundry and linen management to ensure fresh linens are available for clients
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Prepare homes for client visits by tidying up and completing specific cleaning requests
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet quality standards and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to client inquiries

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or related hospitality roles preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to perform light cooking or meal preparation as part of client requests is advantageous
- Skills in laundry management and general household chores
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed residential cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, and common areas
- Follow customized cleaning checklists and client preferences
- Use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products provided by Jaiko
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and team members
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, punctuality, and reliability
- Drive to client homes across Ottawa using company-provided vehicles

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **3 years of professional residential cleaning experience**:

- Valid **G or G2 driver’s license**:

- Fluent **English communication skills** — verbal and written
- Strong understanding of **efficient cleaning practices and attention to detail**:

- Excellent **customer service and interpersonal skills**:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
