We are the largest owner of commercial real estate in the Greater Moncton Area, owning and managing more than 1,000,000 square feet of commercial workspace for leasing, including downtown office, retail, warehouse/industrial and airport hangar spaces.
The Jr. IT Support Specialist will report to the IT supervisor and is responsible for installing and maintaining hardware, software, computers, servers, printers/copiers, security cameras, phones, cell phones, door intercom and door access security.
**Responsibilities/ Duties**
- Manage and evaluate IT systems, security, telecommunications, and computer networks.
- Plan, implement, and oversee improvements in IT infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce IT policies for data processing, security, and phone systems.
- Collaborate with management on system requirements, costs, and timelines.
- Administer company WAN and ensure data backup and recovery systems are in place.
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT-related matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Oversee system backups, archiving, and disaster recovery.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and IT resources.
- Provide IT support and training to staff, including new user orientation.
- Monitor and ensure security of all technology.
- Assist with technology research, recommend improvements, and help with purchasing.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of computer viruses and security.
- Ability to install, manage and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Bilingualism is a strong asset
- Highly proficient in office software, including accounting, spreadsheets, word processing, and website development.
- Excellent stress and time management skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and respectful.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
**Benefits & Salary**
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
- Entitled to accrue vacation of two (2) weeks (10 business days) per year
- Entitled to eleven (11) public paid holidays

Le Spécialiste Support Informatique Jr. fera rapport au superviseur IT et sera responsable de l'installation et de la maintenance du matériel, des logiciels, les ordinateurs, serveurs, imprimantes/copieurs, caméras de sécurité, téléphones, téléphones mobiles, interphones de porte et sécurité d'accès aux portes.
**Responsabilités / Fonctions**
- Gérer et évaluer les systèmes informatiques, la sécurité, les télécommunications et les réseaux informatiques.
- Planifier et superviser les améliorations de l'infrastructure informatique.
- Développer et appliquer des politiques informatiques pour le traitement des données, la sécurité et les systèmes téléphoniques.
- Collaborer avec la direction sur les exigences des systèmes, les coûts et les délais.
- Administrer le WAN de l'entreprise et s'assurer que des systèmes de sauvegarde et de récupération des données sont en place.
- Servir de principal point de contact pour toutes les questions liées à l'informatique.
- Résoudre les problèmes matériels, logiciels et réseaux.
- Superviser les sauvegardes système, l'archivage et la récupération après sinistre.
- Maintenir un inventaire précis du matériel, des logiciels et des ressources informatiques.
- Fournir un support informatique et une formation au personnel, y compris l'orientation des nouveaux utilisateurs.
- Surveiller et garantir la sécurité de toute la technologie.
- Aider à la recherche technologique, recommander des améliorations et des achats.
