Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc.’s Accounting Department requires an Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk to provide services from our Belleville location commencing immediately. This is a full-time permanent position.

Youth Habilitation Quinte (Youthab) supports, connects and empowers individuals to obtain and maintain affordable housing, good mental health and employment, facilitating their transition to independence.
**Who You Are**
As an Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk you are part of our administrative team and are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Agency’s accounts payables.
Your primary responsibilities include maintaining and balancing the accounts payable sub-ledger, establishing and maintaining the general ledger account allocations, processing payments for vendor invoices and program funds, posting transactions into the accounting software, and maintaining administrative filing systems.
You will possess knowledge of accounting procedures and administrative processes, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and have the ability to utilize spreadsheets with exceptional attention to detail using Microsoft Excel.
Your essential qualities will include excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Your qualifications will include a Community/Business College Diploma in a related field and two years’ experience in accounting working with spreadsheets is required. Familiarity in a non-profit environment is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting is considered an asset. A valid driver’s license and a vehicle are required.
