Territory Lead
Are you a strong leader that is able to leverage your sales potential while inspiring and motivating a team? Do you take pride in understanding customer needs in a customer-centric environment? In this role you will be responsible for the performance, coaching and culture of a defined subset of stores in the district. This will involve working closely with your District Manager to achieve store sales targets and operational excellence within your defined territory through training and coaching. The position requires the incumbent to travel to stores in their territory three days per week and the remaining two days will be spent in their home store as a Payments & Rewards Sales Representative.
- Act as a coach for Payments and Rewards Sales Representatives within defined Territory; providing day to day coaching and sales support while also being first point of contact for questions & ownership of territory performance
- Work with District Manager on recruitment and onboarding of Payments & Rewards Sales Representatives within territory
- Responsible for ownership of territory scheduling and adherence
- Accountable to Territory sales targets as well as achieving personal sales expectations
- Actively engage with customers to educate and promote President's Choice Financial products
- Understand customer needs to make appropriate product recommendations
- Offer exceptional advice and product knowledge
- Approach each situation with confidence and enthusiasm to promote and sell our wide-selection of products and solutions
What you’ll need for success in this role:
- Minimum of 1 year’s success in sales in a financial or retail environment (preferred). Prior people management experience is strongly recommended.
- Coaching experience and working with team members required
- An outgoing personality with a talent for acquiring new customers
- A comfort level with sales quotas, with a strong desire to meet and exceed achievable targets
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence current and potential customers by understanding their needs and recommending relevant products and services
- High level of integrity and accountability working with confidential customer information
- Openness to learn through daily interactions with peers and leadership
- Eagerness to pursue new challenges and opportunities to grow within the organization
- Interest in learning and development through coaching and training
- Enthusiasm and energy; thrives in a customer-focused environment
- Ability to travel to locations within territory 3 days per week. Flexibility to travel to other locations from time to time to support District Manager
