Montessori Educator

**About Us**:
We are a nurturing and inclusive Montessori preschool dedicated to supporting the natural development of children through a hands-on, child-centered approach. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Educator to join our vibrant team and guide children in the Casa (3-6 years) classroom.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain a carefully prepared Montessori environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and respect.
- Guide children through individual and group lessons based on Montessori philosophy and materials.
- Observe and document children’s progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and inventory of materials.

**Qualifications**:

- AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori Diploma (Casa level 3-6).
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a Montessori environment (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Teaching background (bachelor of education) is a big asset
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to provide upon hiring).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- A warm, patient, and respectful approach to working with young children.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
