Service Technician

Founded in 1980, **SCP SCIENCE **manufactures automated instruments, analytical equipment, reagents, and certified reference materials for the inorganic analytical chemistry laboratory market. The company has grown substantially in recent years through the development of extensive internal manufacturing capability, acquisition of several companies which have been incorporated into the main company, and expansion of its sales and distribution network around the world.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Promotes the company’s Preventative Maintenance/Service Agreements policy;
- Performs preventative maintenance visits in a timely manner and to the customer’s satisfaction;
- Maintains relevant customer history using the network based service module
- Provides support to other departments in the company, as required.
- Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Other tasks, as required.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- DEC in electrical, electronics or electro-mechanical speciality;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience;
- Demonstrated instrument troubleshooting experience;
- Excellent English & French language skills - verbal and written
- Availability to travel within North America to perform service visits at customer locations.
