Edmonton, Canada Nelson Lumber Company Ltd. Full time

This position is located in Edmonton and reports directly to the Operations Manager of Nelson Lumber. This includes but is not limited to the following specific responsibilities:

- Knowledge of building materials.
- Knowledge of general safety practices.
- Assemble Lumber orders for customer delivery.
- Outdoor yard upkeep and care.
- Self
- starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Sort and process materials to order specifications.
- Physically fit. Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Other duties as required.

Possession of the following skills and qualifications would be a definite asset:

- Forklift certification.
- Proper use of tape measures and the ability to identify different building material products.
- Must take ownership of core responsibilities as assigned at Nelson Lumber and communicate effectively with all operations.
- The desire to complement Nelson Lumber’s team, communicate well, maintain organization, be highly efficient and be accurate.
