Stockroom Clerk

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces and we are currently seeking a Full-time **Stockroom Clerk**. This position will bebased out of **Lower Sackville, N.S.**

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Physical and electronic receiving of inventory
- Handle and storage of all parts and inventory
- Inventory management, cycle counts
- Cleanliness of warehouse
- Follow up of short ship and damaged goods
- Shipping and receiving duties
- Maintain stock levels - order reorder
- Use company supplied inventory management system
- Purchasing of inventory
- Support operations and maintenance staff with counter service
- Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate stock levels
- All other duties as required

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience**:

- 2 + years’ experience in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience considered an asset
- Indoor and outdoor activity required
- Ability of lifting up to 50lbs
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
- Working safely is a condition of employment.

The hours of work will be Monday
- Friday evening shifts from 2pm-12am.
