**What You Will Be Doing -**

Providing customer service, operational and sales support within the Freight Forwarding department: Air Export/Import, Sea Export/Import, and Trucking. Your primary function will be building our freight business. You will act as a liaison between internal staff members and outside customers.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Provide leadership for global forwarding services for Ocean, Air, Road & Rail Transportation services.
- Source Project Freight within WCA and other social media sites.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments in India and Canada offices.
- Resolve work related problems
- Train workers in duties and policies as per Pro-formance Intermodal Management.
- Coordinate, assign and review daily work activities as required work
- Plan, organize and oversee Freight Forwarding operational logistics of the organization
- Attending all RFQ from overseas and local clients, generate air freight quote (import-export) and follow up with client.
- Building partnership with local cartage and carrier for arranging air freight pick-up and delivery.
- Coordinate with IATA airlines for obtaining quotes, booking shipments and execute air shipment.
- Assist with tracking & tracing of shipments, filing of e-manifest, and arranging deliveries.
- Maintain accurate filing system(s), update/input details of shipments in the system and ensure accuracy for billing.
- Assist with payables and receivables.
- Assist within the import/export operation (air, ocean, freight, and customer service) to ensure accurate processing of paperwork to minimize errors.
- Provide backup support within the department during busy periods, vacations, and unexpected employee absences.
- Learn process flow of the Department and provide assistance to team members as needed.
- Supervises existing freight forwarding team

**Who You Are**

5 years freight forwarding experience would be an asset

CIFFA certified is an asset

Salary : Negotiable based on experience
