Retail Health Counsellor

**Mission**:
To deliver exceptional in-person customer service and expert health guidance within NutriChem’s integrated retail environment.

The Full-Time Health Counsellor is a key contributor to the in-store experience, offering warm, informed service and evidence-based product recommendations. This role supports daily operations and promotional efforts while serving as a knowledgeable, approachable touchpoint for clients exploring both wellness products and clinic or pharmacy services. Fully aligned with NutriChem’s mission, the Health Counsellor bridges communication across departments and helps uphold the quality of care in a fast-paced, evolving retail setting.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Customer Experience & Clinic-Associated Services**
- Greet every customer with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming and informative atmosphere.
- Act as the primary contact for clients engaged in clinic appointments, guiding them through each step of their health journey.
- Promote relevant NutriChem services and recommend appropriate follow-up appointments to support long-term satisfaction.
- Offer brief, personalized wellness guidance and connect walk-in clients to the appropriate services, including clinic and pharmacy.
- Address inquiries and concerns confidently and compassionately, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team when needed.

**Sales, Promotions & Retail Support**
- Manage register operations during shifts, ensuring efficient transactions and a friendly, knowledgeable checkout experience.
- Recommend health products suited to customer goals, drawing on supplement and wellness expertise.
- Communicate in-store promotions and service offerings with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Resolve customer issues and order discrepancies with professionalism and care.
- Accurately track sales, product movement, and customer follow-ups in internal systems.
- Maintain merchandising standards through shelf-facing, visual upkeep, and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy, clinic, and lab teams to ensure seamless customer experiences across departments.
- Provide flexible coverage during vacations, sick days, and holidays, ensuring consistency on the retail floor.

**Order Fulfillment & Coordination**
- Process and fulfill customer orders (both clinic and retail-driven) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
- Oversee order documentation, tracking, and communication between relevant teams to maintain accuracy and clarity in order fulfillment.

**Space Ownership, Merchandising & Training**
- Ensure the retail space is clean, organized, and visually appealing, creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Support product displays and ensure inventory is consistently stocked, facing, and rotated according to retail standards.
- Take a proactive role in guiding Sales Associates with ongoing training, ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date and customer service standards are consistently met.
- Promote NutriChem’s sales campaigns and product demos, helping to drive store sales through expert recommendations and personalized service.

**Skills, Qualifications, and Track Record**
- Minimum 1 years of experience in retail health, wellness, or supplement-focused customer service
- Strong knowledge of supplements, natural health products, and holistic wellness strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus
- Comfortable navigating internal systems for tracking sales, inventory, and customer interactions
- Confident and adaptable on the retail floor, able to shift between responsibilities as needed
- Collaborative and proactive approach to maintaining efficient day-to-day retail operations

**Preferred**
- Certification in holistic nutrition, natural health, or a related wellness discipline
- Familiarity with pharmacy-integrated or clinic-support retail environments
- Experience supporting inventory, merchandising, or customer order coordination
