**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including specialists, rehabilitation professionals, and allied health providers.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with Ontario healthcare standards.
- Participate in patient education, preventative medicine, and health promotion activities.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Manage chronic diseases and acute medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care.
- Collaborate with specialists in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, and psychiatry for comprehensive patient management.
- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle changes and disease prevention.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all patient interactions.

**Qualifications**:

- MD and **licensed to practice as a Family Physician in Ontario** (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario - CPSO).
- Membership with the **College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)** preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centred and culturally sensitive care.
- Experience with family planning services, immunizations, pain management strategies, and acute pain management protocols.
