**The Role**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Emissions Technician** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform emissions testing, monitoring, and data collection to help clients meet environmental regulations and improve their sustainability practices.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct on-site emissions testing and monitoring at various industrial facilities.
- Collect, analyze, and report air quality and emissions data using advanced monitoring equipment.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring tools to ensure precise measurements.
- Document and report testing procedures and results accurately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet client deadlines and regulatory standards.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Provide technical support to clients and team members as required.
**Qualifications**
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Experience in emissions monitoring or environmental testing (preferred).
- Knowledge of emissions regulations and testing protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and other Windows-based software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract; willingness to travel to client sites.
- Physical ability to work up to 12 hours per day and manage shifts up to three weeks.
**Assets and Preferences**
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Formal education or hands-on experience in oil and gas production and facilities.
- Experience with fugitive emissions detection equipment or related technologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and emissions control strategies.
- Certifications in H2S Alive, First Aid, and safety training (preferred).
- Certification in Thermography.
- ATV or snowmobile operation experience.
