Then this is an opportunity for you._** **This position reports to**: - Store Manager_ **Summary** This position is a seasonal part time, responsible for relationship building and selling indoor/outdoor furniture and accessories. **Core Accountabilities**: - Generate positive impressions during the shopping and buying experience by serving customers in a friendly, professional and prompt manner. - Follow up of all potential buyers through Dot Furniture’s customer management system. - Achieve monthly sales goals. - Completion of all product knowledge/safety courses, thorough Dot University Programs. - Provide customers with complete explanation of features, benefits, warranty policies, and assembly of products purchased. - Supports store operations by accurately and efficiently completing paperwork and POS transactions. - Prepare/wrap/move/ assemble/disassemble product, prior to transport for customers. - Assist in creating visual displays. - Aid in general store housekeeping. - Assist in warehouse activities. **Skills and Qualifications**: - 2 years sales or hospitality experience required. - Technologically proficient on POS sales register systems is preferred. - Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, both verbal & written. - Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to sales objectives. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, in order to resolve customer issues. - Ability to multi task. - Flexible schedule including the ability to work weekends and holiday shifts. - Ability to lift/move over 50lbs with provided tools. - Work independently, and comfortable assembling/disassembling product. - Flair for interior décor, is an asset. **What’s in it for you?** In addition to a fast-paced, exciting environment that rewards the entrepreneurial spirit, we offer, professional training development, and advancement opportunities throughout our organization, such as: - Discounted programs to enhance employee experience. - Support in career advancement. - Robust training and development programs. - Seasonal work during specific periods, same time every year. - On site parking. - Inclusive team environment. **If you are passionate, customer focused, and thrive in a team environment, we encourage you to** **apply.** We thank all applicants for their interest in Dot Furniture - please note due to the volume of applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. **Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal **Salary**: $16.00 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Store discount Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Commission pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - sales: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
