**Responsibilities**

Reports to the Executive Housekeeper, the main duties of the Laundry Washer are to wash, dry and fold hotel linen for use by departments. Your care and attention to detail in the laundry operation will ensure exceptional standards are delivered for the hotel guests.
- Perform daily laundry tasks. Sort soiled linen, label and make ready for pick up.
- Load/upload washing machines and dryers.
- Receive linen coming out of laundry machine, sort and separate.
- Feed, receive and record contract linen.
- Follow all health and safety and sanitation policies and requirements.
- Report necessary maintenance items and upkeep issues to the management team.
- Consistently offer friendly and engaging interaction with hotel team members and departments.
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to be on feet (standing and walking) for long periods of time required.
- Ability to exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently. Constantly to lift, carry, push and move objects.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work.
- Previous experience in a full-service hotel is preferred. Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Pay: From $20.73 per hour

**Experience**:

- Laundry: 1 year (preferred)
