Location: Surrey Office - 3435 194 St, Surrey, BC V3Z 1A5

**Job Type**: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.

**Salary**: $60,000-$75,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday

Reports To: Senior HR Generalist

As our business continues to grow in BC, we’re looking for a proactive and self-motivated HR Generalist to join our Surrey office. This position will be the primary HR contact for our BC operations, working independently on day-to-day HR responsibilities while collaborating closely with an experienced HR team and direct manager located in Ontario.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for BC roles
- Support offboarding and conduct exit processes
- Provide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees on workplace matters
- Handle employee relations cases with professionalism and sound judgment
- Coordinate training and development activities locally
- Assist with performance management documentation and coaching support
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and produce reports as needed
- Assist with benefit-related inquiries and support annual audits
- Promote and contribute to initiatives that foster employee engagement and a strong safety culture
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters as needed to your manager and collaborate on the resolution
- Perform other HR-related tasks as required

**What You Bring to the Team**
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in construction, skilled trades or other field-based environments
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and make decisions with mínimal day-to-day supervision
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration
- CPHR or CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset
- Strong knowledge of BC employment legislation and HR practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with BambooHR is an asset
