**About the role**
Working as a key leader within our diverse Support Services team, the Cleaning & Carpark Operations Manager is a hands-on role, working with and supporting the Cleaning Services team to provide high quality and professional cleaning services of the SkyCity Hamilton site, and to oversee car park operations to ensure the provision of effective and efficient customer service for car park users.
As part of this you will:
- Ensure smooth operations within the Cleaning Services Team and for car park users
- Take ownership within the Cleaning Services Team of people leadership including recruitment and onboarding, effective feedback, coaching and development.
- Oversee and directly provide training and development ensuring staff are comfortable in the environment
- Create a culture that empowers team leaders and employees to make suggestions or submit ideas on business improvements, implement initiatives that improve customer experience.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and company policy requirements including Health and Safety, Host Responsibility and the Privacy Act
This is a Full Time opportunity, working 40 hours per week.

To be successful in this role, you will also;
- Be able to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively and maintain oversight
- Have previous experience within the cleaning industry
- Be a great problem solver who is able to take initiative and think on your feet
- Have previous roster management experience and excellent computer literacy
- Show demonstrated understanding of the role's responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
- Be an effective, confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Be physically able to undertake the requirements of the position
