Jiffy Lube is looking for reliable, experienced full-time lube technician who has excellent customer service skills.

This person should have extensive knowledge in related matters and be able to work in co-operation with a team of professionals.

**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
**Upper Bay** duties that include but are not limited to:

- Safely guide the guest's vehicle into/out of the bay area.
- Ensure proper care is taken to help eliminate damage to guest's vehicle (fender cover placement)
- Check and communicate initial oil level.
- Check and adjust all tire levels on vehicles to proper inflation.
- Check, communicate and fill necessary fluids
- Add oil, start vehicle, check oil pressure gauge, check oil dipstick.
- Complete additional ancillary services requested by guest.
- Observe lower bay quality inspection as well as perform upper bay quality inspection to ensure zero defections.
- Sweeping washing of bay floors, keeping tools clean and organized
- Taking payment for services.
- Stocking shelves and putting away inventory.
- Replacement of vital car fluids (e.g. coolant, transmission, and transfer case fluid)
- Replacement of parts under the hood (e.g. air filters, headlights, taillights and wiper blade replacements)
- Refilling performance enhancers to ensure the car runs smoothly (e.g. engine stop leak, oil treatment, and conditioners)
- Performing courtesy checks on all vehicles (e.g. topping up fluid levels, cleaning windows and checking tire pressure)

**Lower Bay** duties that include but are not limited to:

- Complete under vehicle inspection.
- Remove oil drain plug, loosen and remove oil filter, wipe mounting plate and check filter spindle.
- Inspect oil drain plug and gasket (replace if necessary)
- Wiper fittings and lubricate (if applicable)
- Check and fill gearboxes (if applicable)
- Report under vehicle status to upper bay.
- Observe under carriage of vehicle once started to ensure no leaks.
- Perform lower bay quality inspections.
- Keep work area tidy and clean. Organize tools.
- Stock filter shelves and put away inventory.
- Other house keeping duties as assigned.
- Perform Differential Plate Services
- Perform Transmission filter changes

**Requirements**:
Class 5 Drivers License (required)

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week

Additional pay:
