Smokin' George's BBQ is gearing up for a busy summer and looking for a part-time dishwasher / kitchen helper. No experience necessary, we will provide training and a positive, healthy work environment. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy being part of great a team, this job is for you All you need is a willingness to learn, good verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
Pay is $18.65 per hour. Enjoy a free meal during your shift and a staff discount on your days off.
Smokin' George's BBQ is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11:00am - 7:00pm (no late night shifts) and we are closed for most family orientated long weekends (like Thanksgiving and Easter) so you can enjoy time with your family and friends.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Using our commercial dish washer to clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Kitchen prep duties such as chipping potatoes for french fries, washing lettuce, breading items, cleaning and sorting vegetables.
- Training on Point of Sale System to take orders over the phone.
- Pitching in where help is needed such as clearing tables in the front of the house and running take out order to customers waiting in the vehicles (protective rain gear provided).
**Job Type**: Part-time, 20 - 25 hours per week
