**About the Role**

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will prevent possible damage and theft in store in order to provide a safe shopping environment to our customers and staffs. Including but not limited to
- Monitor store premises to ensure a safe and secure environment, actively identifying any suspicious behavior or potential threats
- Observe and assess individuals for signs of theft or misconduct; professionally approach and address suspected shoplifting incidents in accordance with company policy
- Prepare reports related all incidents involving theft, property damage, accidents, or safety concerns
- Perform regular internal audits, safety inspections, and compliance checklists to support loss prevention and operational standards
- Build and maintain professional relationships with all internal partners, local law enforcement agencies, mall security and other retailers to support a collaborative approach to safety and loss prevention

**What We're Looking For**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment
- Must satisfy and maintain all licensing required by province or local jurisdiction
- Strong observation, perceptive and intuitive with excellent judgment
- Strong written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communication skills
- Availability to stand and walk for long periods of time

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
