**Job Overview** JIMMY JOHN'S SANDWICHES restaurant
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and manage staff during shifts, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS, while maintaining cash handling protocols.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on food handling practices, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
- Conduct interviews for new hires and assist in the onboarding process to build a strong team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with management on inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry.
- Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
