**The Opportunity**
The National Audit Resource Management team is a small team, making a big impact. Reporting to the Senior Manager, National Resource Management, you would be responsible for the coordination of national tools (ie., technology/systems) and processes used for workforce optimization in the Audit Function.
What you will do:
- Ongoing management of workforce optimization tools, including monitoring data quality, auditing process and cross collaborating with Audit learning team to develop and implement training and process improvement materials
- Daily monitoring of workforce mailbox, responding and escalating when required
- Support the Audit Function with first level technical and process support for Workforce Optimization Tools (for example, resolve basic & intermediate technical issues and user access requests)
- Cross collaborate with Audit Learning team, our Canadian Resource Centre and Resource Management team leads to ensure efficiency and continuous update of workforce optimization sites
- Monitor BOT process and provide daily/weekly reports on any changes and or delays etc.
- Responsible for follow up of Audit weekly controls
- Act as onboarding lead for new Resource Managers within the Audit team, ensuring they are set up appropriately, providing first day training and sharing best practices
- Develop and promote national standard operating processes including but not limited to best practices, and usage of workforce optimization tools
- Create, develop and deliver training materials to support Audit Team with roll out of new tools, new hire training and any process updates
- including live user training on workforce tools
- Support Lead Business Unit Resource Managers with creating reports, working with our Canadian Resource Centre and with data entry tasks and any other assigned tasks to support overflow
- Share ideas and continuous improvement regarding enhancements of workforce optimization tools and processes
What you bring to this role:
- Previous experience in a workforce/ resource management role or strong administrative experience
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Previous experience with workforce management tools
- Retain, ePlanning, PeopleSoft, Oracle etc.
- Experience implementing or troubleshooting new technology
- Previous experience with reporting, running and or creating reports within people management systems
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and general interest in technology (able to problem solve and provide first level troubleshooting support)
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate & Influence - Building and maintaining effective working relationships, ensuring alignment within and across groups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Post-Secondary Education in a relevant field: HR, Business Administration etc.
