Job Summary:
McLellan Group Contracting has over 40 years experience in landscaping/hardscaping and grounds maintenance. We provide reliable lawn and garden maintenance from mowing, trimming, weeding, thinning and pruning; to revamping your garden or adding new features to your property like rock wall, garden, pathways, retaining walls and patios.

McLellan Group Contracting is recruiting a skilled, experienced and qualified landscaper/hardscaper to join our team

Our operators will need to be familiar with operating the following types of equipment:

- Truck with trailer attached
- Operating and maintaining several styles and types of mowers
- Mini excavator
- Skid steer
- Compact tractor
- Perform lawn care services such as mowing, trimming, and fertilizing
- Weeding, cultivating and edging garden beds
- Property clean-up using back-pack blowers
- Preparing the construction site by removing debris and grading the ground
- Complete required paperwork and documentation for the work order in progress;
- Inspects machine and notify management of any issues and concerns daily;
- Perform light maintenance on machinery; refueling, lubing grease points, maintaining machine cleanliness;
- Comfortable working at heights
- Complies with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times;
- Physically capable to complete the outlined job requirements.
- Has a working cell phone with a valid plan
- **Follow instructions provided competently and efficiently**:

- Valid G drivers license with satisfactory drivers abstract;
- 2 years experience of landscaping/hardscaping experience
- Great endurance and the ability to work long shifts
- Able to work independently and have strong problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-10-01
