**JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Integrated Manager, IT Business Operations & Applications Support, the Business Analyst will help gather requirements from all areas of the organization and communicate these back to the Web Development team. This person will play a crucial role in website development by bridging the gap between the business needs and the technical capabilities of the web development team. By way of creating effective requirements, the incumbent, will significantly improve website design and user experience by understanding the needs of the users and incorporating them into the design process. By conducting research and gathering data on the target audience, the business analyst can create user personas that guide the web development team. They will be the vital link between the business and web development team and will work closely with the Project Manager to align on scope and schedule and be a key resource to making this initiative a success.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help to improve website design by working with the web development team to identify and implement the latest design trends and best practices, such as Metaverse, Chat GPT, Artifical Intelligence, etc.
- Ensure that the website meets the business objectives and goals of the organization.
- Elicit and gather requirements
- Understand the business needs and requirements of the hospital and translate them into a clear and actionable plan for the web development team to follow. This includes:

- Identifying the target audience(s)
- Gathering & analyzing data
- Creating user personas
- Understand the users' demographics, preferences, and behaviours, so you can provide valuable insights to the web development team that can help to create a website that is tailored to the users' needs.
- Help to improve website optimization by conducting a thorough analysis of the website's structure, design, and content.
- Identify areas that need improvement, and work with the web development team to make the necessary changes that can help to improve:

- Website performance
- Navigation & site architecture
- Overall user experience
- Play a key role in the user experience (UX) design process by working with the web development team to create wireframes and mock-ups of the website.
- Ensure that the website's design is intuitive, easy to navigate and meets users' needs.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on the website design and make necessary adjustments to improve the overall user experience.
- Identify ways to increase user engagement and patient satisfaction. This can help to ensure that the website is visually appealing and engaging, which can increase user engagement and ultimately lead to better conversion rates.
- After launch, monitor the website's performance, identify areas that need improvement and make suggestions for adjustments.
- Develop and implement business plans, processes and procedures to achieve organization goals.
- Translate high level business concepts/ideas to actionable business plans
- Define strategy to meet organization objectives by identifying and proposing solutions for business needs.
- Maintain complete knowledge of website operations and functions.
- facilitate discussions with key stakeholders/user groups of our website
- Execute complex analysis, identify root cause of problems and contribute to development of solutions
- Performing analysis on current state and future state business processes, identifying gaps, and making gap recommendations to stakeholders
- Liaise with Clinical partners to analyze complex problems, and understand business goals and objectives and develops solutions/makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Builds effective relationships, collaborates and ensures alignment with internal/external stakeholders.
- Works with internal stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, gather the requirements and translate into a plan with prioritization
- Coordinate with various teams to analyze business requirements
- Ensure compliance with Hospital laws and regulations.
- Successfully manage competing priorities and navigate within ambiguity
- Integrate business principles and practices to ensure consistency and evolution of the hospital’s business vision
- Monitor best practices, new technologies and business practices in the healthcare domain
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of latest Healthcare business developments and market trends.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with project sponsors and management

**QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Science, Health Care Administration or a related healthcare field is required
- Masters in Business Administration or Health Services Administration is preferred
