Saskatoon, Canada New Earth Therapy Full time

New Earth Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for an independent contract position.

**About this position**:
New Earth is looking for an independent contract SLP to join our team, specifically to work with our pediatric wing. This position offers flexibility in hours, and allows you to choose your own schedule, although preference is given to those with fulltime availability.

**Duties**:

- Conduct assessments and evaluations of individuals to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide therapy and support to our pediatric clients and their families. Opportunity for group work available.
- Collaborate with other professionals (including a well established pediatric SLP on our team) to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for clients
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress per New Earth Therapy standards
- Stay informed about community resources and refer clients to appropriate services as needed
- Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings, peer consult team meetings, and collaborative meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development

**Qualifications & Job Requirements**:

- Applicants must be eligible for, or licensed by, the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK).
- Master’s degree or equivalent required. o Saskatchewan license required
- Thorough understanding and adherence to your governing body’s ethical guidelines
- Proof of personal liability insurance
- 2 years of experience in a therapy setting is considered an asset, but not necessary.
- Experience supporting children with autism, articulation and those who are non-verbal

**About you**:

- Highly motivated to grow your private practice with the guidance and support of our team
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Preference will be given to individuals who have experience in private practice and who have an established client base
