Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the GTA Campus, Airport Rd. Pharmacy, and the Coopers building. Runs and promotes the mobile tech program for the GTA area. Builds and maintains relationships with the various business units that operate in the Ontario province to provide support and guidance on all matters related to facility operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Work with the service partner(s) to develop regular frequencies for operational review meetings and to document escalation pathways for issue resolution.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, manages complex, multiple and continually changing priorities.
- Continuous awareness of all critical issues within portfolio.
- Sets clear, measurable expectations for the portfolio, holds individuals accountable to the highest standards.
- Responsible for delivering solid financial performance on behalf of the Enterprise Facilities Management organization. Will work with service partner(s) to identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers, standardize services and optimize staffing to deliver high-quality services while driving lower cost of ownership wherever possible.
- Precisely track/account for key building related assets and effectively manage life-cycle.
- Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders by monitoring and listening to feedback. Deliver reports for business-critical elements such work management, occupancy and facility improvements.
- Deliver clear, convincing and well-organized presentations; projects credibility and poise even in high visible and potentially adversarial situations. Communicates ideas clearly and has the ability to explain business topics in simple terms.
- Ability to work with our Procurement and Sourcing team to ensure our service partner(s) and key suppliers and vendors remain competitive whilst providing quality service and new services are provided using a robust sourcing framework.
- Ability to work with the Finance team to prepare annual budgets, manage monthly variances, including forecasts.
- Responsible for coordinating with internal resources and service partner(s) to produce multi-year OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the entire managed portfolio.
- Indirectly manage staff of dedicated service partner personnel and numerous third-party vendors and contractors.
- Ensure that service partner(s) resource levels and operational focus is adequate for the implementation of strategic facilities initiatives. While Manager shall not dictate staffing levels nor organization structure, Manager shall constantly monitor performance levels and provide actionable feedback.
- Promptly identify areas where performance is not satisfactory and develop remediation strategies to correct performance.
- Primary point of contact for service partner(s) escalations. Is the liaison between business unit representatives and service partner(s) to ensure service level and delivery meets business requirements.
- Responsible for collecting periodic feedback on service partner(s) performance from key business unit stakeholders and other shared services groups such as IT, Site Security, Human Resource (HR) and Legal.
- Actively participate in disaster preparedness, emergency response and additional job duties as required.
- Actively support corporate security policies and procedures. Liaison with the Site Security Officer (SSO)

**Job Qualifications**
- Operational and contract management experience in facilities operations, and experience in managing through outsourced service partners.
- Thorough knowledge of facility management services.
- Experience managing facilities vendors, including fully outsourced models.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and quantify performance improvement issues and solution alternatives.
- Provide world class relationship building skills. Must be able to bridge relationships between service provider and end user population.
- Excellent resolve and composure during facilities emergencies.
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical knowledge of sourcing, contracts and project management.
- Process and results focused, with a passion for client satisfaction, sustainability, quality, and innovation.
- Knowledge of budgetary process as it relates to operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Champions new ideas and initiatives.
- Preferred Experience with CMMS
- Preferred FMP or CFM certifications through IFMA

**Education**
- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
- BA or BS degree preferred in business, construction management, engineering, facility operations, or equivalent work experience.

**Working Conditions**
- Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) - Mainly office, but warehouse, pharmacy, infusion clinics, and retail sites will also be part of the portfolio
