**PARC Retirement Living** is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We’re looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic **Dining Room Server** to join **Cedar Springs PARC **retirement residence at nature’s edge near Mount Seymour in North Vancouver.

**Dining Room Server Responsibilities**:

- Serve food in accordance with proper food service procedures, with emphasis on presentation;
- Clean and set up the dining room between meals;
- Wash dishes when needed;
- Serve residents in accordance with any special dietary needs or preferences as well as providing room service.

**Dining Server Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of high school grade 10 education with restaurant or hotel server experience;
- Attention to detail and ability to serve meals according to standard serving, clearing and food safe practices;
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with others;
- Must have successfully completed Food Safe 1, Serving It Right and WHMIS;
- Effective team member with the desire and ability to support the company and the team in all activities;
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to employees, residents and guests;
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and their professional service providers.
