Looking for an experienced Mortgage Underwriter with 2 or more years experience. This role helps support the Team Lead to focus on productivity rather than administrative tasks. The underwriter is responsible for structuring complex deals and review all inbound documents and communication with clients. This role will be assuming responsibility for the mortgage administrative activities for the mortgage sales team.

**Required Qualifications**
- 2 or more years experience in Structuring and Underwriting Mortgage Deals
- A strong understanding of A, B, and Private lending
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with industry regulations and underwriting guidelines
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage deadlines
- Proficient in excel, lender portals, and mortgage broker platforms (i.e. Velocity, Filogix, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Mortgage Agent License
- Multilingual an asset

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
