Technology **Position Summary**:
**Location**:Pieridae Energy Limited, Calgary office is seeking a Network Analyst to join the Information Technology
Calgary Head Office team. Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, the Network Analyst is responsible for

maintaining the smooth operations of the Corporate Network services across all Pieridae’s assets. The
optimizing our Infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Network management: upgrade, installation, and design.
- Monitors the health, stability, and performance of network technologies and connected services.
- Monitors network and cloud technologies to ensure the availability, reliability and responsiveness

of systems and services.
- Implement cloud migration of physical servers at the data center to the cloud.
- Operates and adjusts monitoring technologies to ensure system outages are identified and

resolved efficiently.
- Work effectively and efficiently with our MSP provider and in conjunction with our SCADA analyst

on efforts such as SCADA, Security, Server Infrastructure, etc.
- Work with third-party service providers for field, project, and operational support.
- Assist with hardware/software deployment from time to time.

**Experience & Knowledge**
- Information Technology related degree or equivalent education from a recognized institution.
- Progressive experience supporting Enterprise Networking.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP required or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the following technologies and protocols:

- BGP, OSPF, STP, SNMP, SIP;
- Cisco Routers and Switches, IOS, NX-OS;
- Cisco Wifi & VPN;
- WAN technologies MPLS, VSAT, LTE/cellular, etc.; and
- MS Teams.
- Preference given working knowledge of:

- Microsoft Azure / Azure Networking, SDWN;
- Network Management Tools: Solarwinds, Live Action, Cisco DNAC;
- CITRIX Netscaler
- Understands Cloud infrastructure and VMs
- Operated a highly secure network, utilizing logical segmentation and layered security design.
- Demonstratable experience working in high pressure, low downtime environments, both in

maintenance and break / fix scenarios
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage a constantly changing workload.
- Excellent oral and written English language skills, including solid presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong teamwork orientation, adaptable, and highly

personable.
