Associate Veterinarian

South Tower Animal Hospital in beautiful and family-friendly Fergus, Ontario is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic veterinarian or veterinarians to join our small, dedicated team on a full-time or part-time basis. We are looking for 1 Veterinarian to do general practice, but we are also looking for another Veterinarian interested in joining our FIP Study.

Our hospital is located approximately 15-20 minutes north of Guelph and offers a full slate of diagnostic and treatment modalities including state-of-the-art digital radiography, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, tonometry and cryo surgery in our modern facility which includes a large, bright and busy surgical suite. We have in-house lab equipment and our veterinarians are highly supported through the effective use of a highly competent team of RVTs and other support staff, which means DVM’s are rarely double-booked and appointment slots are generally 30 minutes. After-hours emergencies are referred to area emergency facilities which means no late-night or on call responsibilities.

Unlike most general practices, we offer both advanced surgical and medical services to our clients. GDV surgery, orthopedics, trephination and fungal rhinitis treatment, transfusions, an ongoing province-wide FIP treatment study, etc. - we love practicing advanced veterinary medicine, learning and challenging each other, and leveraging our education and training to its fullest.
