Close My Cottage is a full-service home maintenance company focused on helping seasonal cottage owners manage the care and upkeep of their properties. Based in Bruce County, Ontario, we provide hands-on support for owners who can’t always be at their cottages or simply need reliable help to maintain them.

Our services include window washing, gutter cleaning, yard work, power washing, and coordinating seasonal plumbing shutdowns. One of our core offerings is performing detailed, checklist-based cottage checkups to ensure everything is in great shape—especially when owners are away.

Position Overview:
We’re hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to complete onsite work at cottage properties. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, independence, and being part of a growing local company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Window washing and gutter cleaning
- Yard raking and seasonal property cleanup
- Lifting and moving outdoor furniture
- Assisting with power washing (training provided)
- Performing seasonal checklist-based cottage checkups
- Coordinating trades (e.g., plumbers for opening/closing)
- Using Jobber software to manage tasks and scheduling
- Driving and maintaining the company van and equipment

Qualifications:

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working on ladders
- Ability to work independently and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- Cell phone required for using company software
- Experience in landscaping, maintenance, or trades is an asset

Job Details:

- Start: Early May
- Hours: 30-40 per week to start, growing to full-time
- Wage: Competitive, based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
