Data Analyst

**ESPANOLA REGIONAL HOSPITAL AND HEALTH CENTRE**

**Full-Time Data Analyst**

for the collection, reporting and analysis of data which will be used to develop business and clinical workflow
efficiencies through improved technology optimization/utilization. This position will support the establishment
of an integrated health care delivery system by developing and maintaining systems that provide reliable
integration of data between the computerized information systems used at various hospitals. Reporting
directly to the Digital Health Manager, the Data Analyst is a highly motivated individual who demonstrates
superior technical skills combined with exceptional problem solving and complex project management
abilities.
- Degree or Diploma in the field of Health Information Management, Statistics, Business Analysis,

Computer Science, or a related IT/Health Sciences discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in hospital/health data analysis preferred
- Proficient in report development software such as Tableau Server, SAP Crystal Reports, Meditech

MAT/NPR, or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or other BI tools to design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines to

extract data from various sources and transform into a usable format
- Experience working with Health Care Information Systems (e.g., Meditech Expanse)
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills used to collect, organize and analyze significant

amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical/financial processes and workflow within a health care

environment
- Ability to independently identify issues, plan improvements, measure success and continue

improvement
- Knowledge of HL7 messaging, and integration with third party systems

This position offers a competitive compensation package including paid vacation and sick leave, health and
dental benefits, life insurance and pension plan. The starting wage for this position is $43.04 - $48.44 per hour
depending on experience.
