Experienced Arborist

DreamWorks Tree Services is looking for a skilled **Experienced Arborist** who can also operate a **Forestry Mulching Machine** to join our team This position will have you performing both arboricultural and land management tasks, contributing to the care, maintenance, and preservation of trees across residential, commercial, and municipal areas, as well as clearing vegetation for forestry and land management projects.

As an **Experienced Arborist & Forestry Machine Operator**, you’ll take on responsibilities ranging from tree pruning, removal, and health assessments to operating and maintaining forestry mulching machinery. Your ability to perform a wide range of tasks will be essential to meeting the diverse needs of our clients and supporting the overall goals of DreamWorks Tree Services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform arboricultural tasks including:

- Tree pruning, removal, and planting
- Tree health assessments and climbing
- Bucket truck operation
- Operate and maintain a forestry mulching machine for land clearing, vegetation removal, and stump grinding
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on equipment
- Use a chainsaw as needed for both arboricultural and land management tasks
- Identify potential hazards and manage site conditions, ensuring safety compliance
- Collaborate with the Arboriculture crew to coordinate tasks and meet project goals
- Provide excellent customer service to clients

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience in arboriculture, with skills in tree pruning, removal, planting, and health assessments
- **Licensing**: AR/DZ license required; valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract is essential
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating forestry mulching machinery, arboricultural equipment, and a bucket truck
- Ability to climb trees safely and use industry-standard climbing techniques and equipment
- Competency with chainsaws and routine equipment maintenance
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of arboricultural principles, safety practices, and forestry regulations
- **Attributes**: Physical stamina to work in various conditions, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
