**Job Summary**: We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic individual for a casual position who wants to work both indoors and outdoors supporting our Garden Centre Staff. You are ideally available on weekends and have high availability during our busy season (March-June). This position would be perfect for someone who likes plants but is just looking for a casual role that can offer a flexible number of hours that change based on the seasons. You would spend your hours working on general clean up both indoors and out, plant care and performing basic customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for greeting and directing customers when necessary
- Assist in a variety of roles around the Centre, adjusting as necessary during the day
- Helping to cover breaks at the till in the busy season
- Help load and unload deliveries, do carryout to the parking lot and move carts around the property
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Centre at all times
- Tag trees, move and label plants and other duties as assigned
- Help at the Tills when busy Ideal

**Skills**:

- Any work or volunteer experience in retail or customer would be ideal
- Able to use a Shopify based POS to process sales as directed
- Friendly and Outgoing and able to provide clear guidance and direction to a wide variety of people
- Flexible schedule, and weekend
- Availability especially during March-June
- Interest in plants and gardening

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
