Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

**Reports To **Warehouse Manager, Breathe Outdoors

**Summary**

We are builiding and growing our team The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the timely movement of goods in and out of Breathe Outdoors, and for keeping accurate records of inventory.

**Personal Characteristics**
- Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
- Possesses good organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Has a courteous helpful attitude and can work well with others
- Can multi-task and prioritize
- Operates well under time pressure

**Job Duties**
- Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy
- Record shipped and received goods in logs
- Unpack received goods and place into appropriate storage areas
- Fill out forms for damaged or discrepancy items and route them correctly
- Pick from lists for product replenishment to the other branches
- Prepare shipping documents
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips
- Direct delivery trucks and help drivers load / unload goods
- Trace lost shipments as needed
- Call customers and carriers to coordinate pick-up and delivery
- Process store and customer warranties and follow up when required
- Assist with processing Web orders and Amazon shipments
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep warehouse and related areas clean
- Required to operate pallet jack, conveyor belt, pallet wrapper and Forklift (once trained)
- May be required for occasional outdoor maintenance (lawn care / snow removal)

**Requirements**:

- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- previous warehouse experience
- retail warehouse experience is an asset
- Forklift training and experience is an asset
- High school diploma

**Work Conditions**
- Mostly indoors in warehouse; some outdoor work required for unloading shipments
- Will be required to work on feet for long periods of time
- Fast paced work environment, flexible hours may be required during busy seasons

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- warehouse shipping: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse receiving: 1 year (preferred)
- retail warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
