**Requirements**:
- Certificate or degree from a mechanical and/or manufacturing program
- 5 or more years of project management experience

**Duties**
- Developing project scopes and objectives for, as well as participating in, acquisitions, facility improvements, production and procurement initiatives/changes and product development.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Tracking and reporting
- Leading the hand-over of new products from R+D to the Manufacturing Department
- Working with production and engineering staff to track and prioritize opportunities for improvement of quality control, manufacturing methods and supply chain
- Assisting with development and refinement of process controls
- Assisting with logistics improvements
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Managing/overseeing existing and new patents
- Maintaining time and product development logs for SRED and other granting programs
**Considered an Asset**
- Experience managing projects and/or products in a manufacturing environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize
- Experience with acquisitions and systems integration/amalgamation
- Experience with the patent process
- An understanding of revision control
- Experience with Salesforce or Similar CRM software
- Superior organizational skills
- A natural ability to provide creative solutions
- Persistence and drive
- The desire to learn new skills and self-improve
- A strong attention to detail
- Hands-on experience such as machining, fabricating, assembling, being a mechanic, or having a genuine love of building things since childhood
